Guide to introducing your customers to VerifiMe
Introducing VerifiMe to your customers is simple.
This page will guide you through what your customers will need to do for the initial proof of identity process.
Guidance for customers on the identity verification process
To help with the identity verification process, please share with your customers:
Required Information when verifying your identity as part of the initial wallet set up:
Provide your name, address, date of birth, and email address.
Submit 2 additional identity documents.
Complete a liveliness check.
2. Accepted Identity Documents:
Examples include: Driver’s Licence, Passport, Visa, Identity Card, Document of Identity, ImmiCard, Student Identification Card, Medicare Card, Immigration Card.
You can either screenshot the documents with your phone or upload scanned images. Ensure the images are clear.
3. Document Submission Tips:
If your identity card has information on both sides (e.g. a number or alteration such as change of address), upload images of both sides.
If using a phone application, you may need to upload 2 screenshots of say an electronic driver’s licence to capture all necessary information.
4. Special Provisions:
If you cannot meet the identity requirements due to circumstances such as unregistered birth, homelessness, undocumented arrival to Australia, remote living, transgender or intersex status, natural disaster impact, limited access to identity documents, or being a young individual without an established social footprint, please contact support@verifime.com.
5. Additional Documents:
You may be asked to upload other documents to verify and qualify your rights or proficiency.
Checking Process and Use of Personally Identifiable Information (PII):
Storage: Uploaded documents for identity verification are not stored within the VerifiMe application.
Usage: The information is used to create a record of a verified state, including the type of document, date checked, and document expiry.
Security: Personally Identifiable Information (PII) is held offline in an encrypted and secure environment.
Encryption Process Details:
Encryption Algorithms: VerifiMe uses advanced encryption algorithms to transform your data into unreadable ciphertext. This ensures that only authorized parties can access your information.
Data in Transit and at Rest: Your data is encrypted both during transmission (when it is being sent to our servers) and at rest (when it is stored offline). This dual-layer encryption protects your data from unauthorized access at all times.
Key Management: Encryption keys are managed securely, ensuring that only authorized personnel can access the keys needed to decrypt your data.

Information is available on security and data protection here
The information from your documents and liveliness checks is used to verify your identity against government databases and commercial third-party data lists. This information is encrypted in transit, and only the confirmation result is stored in the VerifiMe application.
